Thank You For Being A Part of This Journey
They say that going from zero to one, from the idea of a business to generating revenue, is the hardest part of launching. I have enough experience to confidently confirm that whoever “they” is, knows what they’re talking about. Having to constantly juggle sales, marketing, building product and service roadmaps, and designing the customer experience while simultaneously being responsible for admin, finance, legal, and even janitorial… it’s a lot. The loneliness of the journey and the doubts that creep in some days can be enough to make quitting seem much easier than continuing on.
But because of you… our friends and families, the customers and partners who bet on us from the beginning, and those of you who have encouraged us to keep going, RedLeif will close the chapter on 2023 having done a lot more than simply going from zero to 1. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
Looking Forward to 2024
We figured this is as good a time as any to share a little bit more about RedLeif’s roadmap for 2024. Here’s a peek at some of the roadmap:
SLED as a Service: The Co-Founders Cohort
An incubator or accelerator for technology companies wanting to accelerate their partnership pipelines, SLED* as a Service is our most deeply-integrated public sector partnership. Because of the alignment and focus needed to deliver expected outcomes, we’ve capped each year to 1 cohort and each cohort of companies to no more than 10. We’re on track to finalize the first cohort in Q1 of 2024 and are excited to watch the first group of companies develop synergies with us that drive outcomes. *SLED = State, Local, and Education entities
SLED University
We’re combining our incredibly unique experiences into a series of courses that are designed to accelerate partnerships with SLED institutions. We’re finalizing the first course and will be rolling it out during Q1 and we’ll be providing it to public sector CXOs at no charge.
The Trading Post
The Trading Post was established to create a collaborative ecosystem for technology executives and their teammates. It’s been designed to build a community of trust, share insights and best practices, and offer access to resources that will help each of us navigate the digital frontier more effectively.

If you’re interested in helping guide or hosting content within The Trading Post, shoot us an email to [email protected] and we’ll get you set up as we roll it out. We expect the areas of focus to grow and refine with the community we build together but the initial functions within The Trading Post include:
The CXO Outpost: created exclusively for CXOs and their teammates who are currently in the trenches as a free resource, The CXO Outpost is a trusted environment designed to foster genuine and authentic dialogue amongst those “still in the chair” and with different spaces that cover:
Enterprise Technology Strategy, Cybersecurity, Modernization & Transformation, and Navigating the C-Suite
The CoLab 2.0: We’re taking the same fundamentals the nationally-renowned CoLab we built upon from the ground up during a tour of service inside government and launching The CoLab 2.0. Short for “The Collaboration Laboratory”, The CoLab 2.0 exists to create partnerships across the ecosystem by delivering world-class thought leadership, fostering the robust exchange of ideas, and offering substantive skills development. Spaces will cover topics including:
Emerging Technology, Skills Development, Designing for Customer Success, and People & Culture
PubSec Tech: The public sector is different. Like, really different. PubSec Tech was established specifically for stakeholders across the public sector ecosystem and will be home to SLED University. In addition to SLED U, PubSec Tech will also have dedicated spaces for:
Combatting Regulatory Capture, Whole of State Initiatives, and A Proof of Concept Factory
